On This Date: Photo taken 8/17/2005
A dozen years ago the roofers showed up shortly before we left for a trip to Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We chatted a bit, finished packing, loaded up the car, and left.
Meantime they were unpacking their supplies, moving shingles and equipment up to our roof, and doing prep work.
I got a few pictures. I’ve always liked this one.
When we returned from Wisconsin the roof was finished and the roofers had gone.
