Winter through the Work Window

On This Date: Photo taken 2/24/2010.

For a dozen years or so this was the outside view from my desk. The window was tall, but this photo shows its entire width. Not a great view; not a bad view. At least I had a window.

Hiding behind that tree is a salt shed. Victor got a great photo of it last November.


I had this cubicle twice. A reorganization took me away to an upstairs cubby with a view of the swamp, but then we moved to another building and a desk without windows. A few months later I transferred back to this building, and soon reclaimed this desk.

Perspective: Joan worked in the same building for 40 years and never sat near a window.
