Selections from the Improbable Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by John Joseph Adams: a review of sorts

It’s silly, probably, to complain about a free ebook. Nonetheless, a couple notes…

1. None of the authors listed on the cover are actually in the book–but since it was plainly labelled “selections,” that’s an observation rather than a complaint.

2. The best stories–I particularly liked “Merridew of Abominable Memory,” and “Dynamics of a Hanging” is delightful–are pretty good. The worst are pretty bad.
